Chafing Dishes Operating Instructions
Caution:
* Do not use anything but sterno type fuel in the burner.
* Never light the burner unit before putting liquid into the water pan. Low flame is sufficient to maintain proper heat.
* Do not put unit on a hot stove or an open flame.
1. Fill water pans with approximately 2 inches of hot water. Check water pan when in use to insure sufficient water is contained at all times. Do not use without water.
2. Pry the lid off of sterno and set sterno container into the heat cup. Light sterno and adjust lid of heat cup at approximately ½ open. One can of sterno should last up to 2 hours.
3. Food should be hot upon placing in food pan. Place stainless steel food pans inside water pans. Food pans can be used for cooking or set in the oven to keep food hot.
